Bangkok - Top 10 places to see

Grand Palace

This is the archetypal tourist attraction in Thailand. Go to Thailand and visit the Grand Palace would like to visit Windsor Castle, and not stop for tea with the Queen (or so) they have. The architecture is outstanding, the treasures (like the famous Emerald Buddha) breathtaking, the atmosphere incredibly non-Western ", you seem really arrived in Asia as you go around the building in the sights and smells.

WatPho

Wat Pho is another amazing time. It is a veritable temple to working conditions, medical center and a traditional school of massage (you will see how a Thai massage can be done there). I am a big fan of Thai massage and I can vouch for its effectiveness. After back pain for over 13 years, was completely eliminated after a session of Thai massage, and has never been any problems immediately. Truly amazing. Wat Pho is a fascinating place with many nooks and crannies to explore and somesignificant resources, like the statue of reclining Buddha.

Wat Arun

Less glamorous than the two previous WATS, Wat Arun is often the view of the emphasis on these postcards, which will see a Wat at sunrise or sunset - perhaps with a rolling fog of the river Chao Phraya. In fact, Sunrise (or more generally sunset) is enjoying the best time of the ancient splendor of the ancient Wat. Architectural details of the Wat is truly amazing - you take a boat tripthere and enjoy the view from the River.

Oriental Hotel

Some might argue that the Oriental in Bangkok is the best hotel in the world. Although this may be true 10 years ago, this requirement may be less valid, but not without considerable merit. While most of us live in the middle is a bit 'more of our budget, you can still enjoy the magnificence of this hotel, with an evening there. It 's highly recommended. You can enjoy sitting by the river anda couple of drinks (and a stream of cool breeze), or enjoy a fabulous dinner, complete with entertainment, such as Thai dancing and music. Dinner is a traditional Thai "tables" made - where in fact you are sitting on the ground and the food is more or less on the floor - fascinating stuff.

As you go through the East, do not forget to look around and take in particular - is the beautiful architecture of the hotel, built in 1876, will melt in your mouth.

Baiyoke SkyHotel

Bangkok is a city with many pretty impressive in the shape of tall buildings and very strange. The higher the Baiyoke Tower. It 's a great building, and you can not make a journey to remember the taxi ride from the airport to downtown Bangkok. The Sky Hotel has a cafeteria and a bar at the top, which can use foreign policy. There is live entertainment, good food and the view can not be beat.

Mahboonkrong Shopping Centre (MBK)

MBK is a very famous shopping streetCentre in Bangkok and the law. This is an incredible "Aladdin's Cave" of products. Electrical Engineering, T-shirts, cameras, DVDs, CDs, souvenirs, coffee, watches, mobile phones ... all can be found in MBK and many more. There is also an entire floor dedicated to restaurants ... everything from Thai to Japanese to Western and everything else.

Besides being a great place for shopping, MTC has also observed a great place for people. Simply find a coffee shop, take an iced tea andrelax!

Jim Thompson's House

Jim Thompson is a well known figure in Thailand, not least because of his mysterious disappearance while walking in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia. Conspiracy theories abound, and the involvement of the CIA, said. What is known that Jim Thompson to re-create the market for Thai silk and credited to a very rich businessman and successful year. Jim Thompson was also an avid collector of Thai cultural artifactsstill need to be in his house, which is open to the public to see. The house is the traditional Thai style house.

The house is a museum and is one of the most interesting places in Bangkok in my opinion. Architecture and design of the house and the interior is amazing and breathtaking.

This is an absolute must-see location.

China Town

There is a very important influence in China, Thailand - Thais are many descendants of Chinese immigrants. As suchBangkok has a huge Chinatown, much bigger and more spectacular than either London or San Francisco's Chinatown in my opinion.

It 's a great place to eat - there are many restaurants and take away from this the best thing to do, only now and find a place as you choose the look. There are also many vendors on the streets, and you can buy all sorts of souvenirs. I really like the purchase of Chinese-style products such as mirrors, lamps andreligious objects.

Make sure you take your camera - there will be many photo opportunities.

Dusit Park

Sometimes it's nice to spend the hustle and bustle of life in Bangkok and Dusit Park went to a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. There are a lot in the park, and the beautiful gardens there are several local museums, including King Bhumibol photography museums, antique fabrics and silk museum and the rank and Portrait Museum. I am amuch more interesting than it sounds! The pavilion on the lake is also possible to escape.

Floating Market

The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is the best floating markets. It is located about 60 miles outside of Bangkok, is a bit 'trek, but worth it, since most of the floating markets near Bangkok are just tourist traps and places to visit unpleasant. This market has kept something of its original character. It 'can gettours of Bangkok, to go there if you do not want to make your own way there.
